Sesame seeds come from a grass grown in Asia and Central and South America. The seeds have a good mild nutty flavour that appears even more clearly if roasted. They are also rich in nutrition, vitamins and minerals. Sesame seeds are often used in baking, for example on food bread and hamburger bread and in cakes. They are also good to sprinkle with salads, use as breading for meat or fish and as an ingredient in Asian wok dishes.
