Waffle day Mars 25th

Did you know that Vårfrudagen, or Lady Day, is also known as Våffeldagen, or Waffle Day? In fact, Waffle Day always falls on the same date every year, namely March 25th. The origin of the name Waffle Day is not entirely clear, but there is a theory that it may have arisen from a mispronunciation of Lady Day which instead became "Vafferdag". Anyway, it's a day when many choose to eat waffles as a traditional dish.
