Läkerol is a brand of throat lozenges and chewing gum, now produced by Cloetta. The brand was originally launched in 1909 by Ahlgrens Tekniska Fabrik in Gävle. At that time, it was used for a German product imported from Kleutgen & Meier in Bad Godesberg. It wasn’t until 1916 that Ahlgrens began producing the lozenges themselves.
