Opiumvallmo is a one-year herb that will be up to 1 meter high and which has large beautiful multicolored flowers. Poppy seeds are edible (drug-free) and oil rinses. There are three different varieties: blue, white and gray. They have a nut-like flavor. The seeds are less than 1 mm long and can be used throughout, ground or pressed to poppy seed oil. White poppy seeds are used as decoration on bread and biscuits and buns.
