Cumin belongs to parsley plants. The plant grows about 50 cm high with dill -like leaves and small white or pink flowers. The fruit is reminiscent of cumin but is slightly longer. Just as in cumin, only the fruits are used. The spice can be used both whole and the template. It is an aromatic spice with a little nutty element. To reinforce the taste, the seeds can be roasted for a while in a frying pan before use. Cumin is included in many spice mixtures such as curry, chili powder and garam masala. Cumin is well suited to Indian and Mexican dishes. Do not confuse cumin with cumin which has a completely different taste.
